A Practical Approach

Collaborada helps businesses improve visibility in AI search, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and other answer engines. You may see this work called GEO, AEO, AIO, AI SEO, or LLM optimization. We work across platforms, with particular depth in Squarespace SEO and technical search issues. We’ve delivered sustainable results for clients since 2013.

AI Search & GEO Services

We help businesses improve how they are found, understood, and represented across AI-assisted search. We evaluate conventional search performance alongside ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, and other answer engines, then identify which technical, content, brand, and authority issues matter.

What does a typical session look like?

For smaller sites on platforms like Squarespace or Wix, this single working meeting provides more hands-on, customized, impactful guidance than other higher-priced GEO “packages.” We deliver value upfront—no unnecessary commitments, complex frameworks, plugins, or PDF reports that create more confusion than clarity. All sessions are led by Christine Darby, whose background in business consulting, enterprise systems, and software development brings a broader technical and strategic perspective to her SEO/GEO work.

We could not be more thrilled. Had one session with Christine so far, and the results are beyond what we hoped! She helped us to target and fulfill our goals precisely. Exceedingly pleased.

AI Search Without the Hype

There is real change happening in search. AI systems retrieve, summarize, combine, and cite information differently from traditional search results. A business can rank well in Google and still be poorly represented in AI search, while competitors may appear in AI-generated answers even when they don’t outrank you conventionally.

There is also an enormous amount of opportunistic marketing around that change. A visibility problem does not automatically require a new service layer, proprietary score, or monthly GEO retainer. Our job is to determine what your site actually needs—not sell you what is still speculation.

What We Actually Do

We help businesses evaluate what AI search changes for their existing SEO strategy and what, if anything, needs to be adjusted. Depending on the site, that may include technical SEO, information architecture, semantic clarity, structured data where it serves a real purpose, or gaps between what the business actually does and what search engines or AI systems can reasonably infer.

Our goal is to make your business and its expertise clear, credible, and easy to verify. We help you fix what matters and leave alone what doesn’t. And we don’t create work because a new acronym makes SEO sound more complicated. Your website needs proper SEO, strong content, clear positioning, third-party corroboration, and time and evidence in the market. GEO may require additional work in some cases, but that work is good SEO and brand strategy—not a separate optimization discipline.

Before Hiring a GEO Consultant

AI search changes where people discover your business, but it doesn't create a completely separate optimization discipline. The same fundamentals still matter: a technically sound site, useful content, clear positioning, real expertise, accurate business information, and credible third-party signals.

The new GEO market has also created incentives to repackage these fundamentals and overstate what can be controlled. Be skeptical of proprietary visibility scores, unexplained percentages, vague case studies, self-created certifications, and guarantees about citations or AI visibility.

What We Don’t Do

No GEO or AI search consultant should promise specific results. Why? Visibility depends on changing algorithms and models, search intent, site authority, competitors, technical quality, and your broader digital footprint.

  • We don’t promise that ChatGPT will cite your website. We don’t guarantee inclusion in Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, or any other AI-generated answer.

  • We don’t sell proprietary “GEO scores” as if they are objective industry metrics.

  • We don’t add schema, llms.txt, FAQs, or AI-targeted content simply because they appear on a GEO checklist. A weak site does not become stronger simply because someone adds an llms.txt file or schema. Thin content does not become authoritative because it was reformatted as questions and answers.

  • We don’t recommend publishing large volumes of generic content to manufacture topical authority.

  • We don’t assume that a tactic working today will remain useful simply because current AI systems appear to reward it.
