The Request

Corlears School, a private New York City elementary school in operation for over 50 years, contacted Collaborada after experiencing two years of decreasing SERP placement and student enrollments. The school’s objective was better search result placement. Collaborada also recommended a website redesign to make the site more intuitive for users to navigate.

The Work

During the engagement, Christine of Collaborada worked closely with the school to reorganize site content for multiple audiences: potential, current, and former student families. On-page SEO elements were improved and the website was redesigned to positively impact user experience. The goal was to boost the site’s traffic and increase the school’s conversions (measured as applications submitted).

The Results

Accelerated CRO. The school’s placement in the NYC educational market was brought back to life. They experienced a quick and dramatic rise in search placement, landing on the first page of Google for many keywords. More importantly, they saw an immediate and significant 30% increase in applications. The website now serves as a primary marketing tool allowing staff to focus efforts on broader content strategy.
